Your Investment

Custom Memory Bears begin at $80.

Every memory bear is handcrafted from your cherished clothing, making each one completely unique. Final pricing may vary depending on the type of clothing, project complexity, and any requested personalization.

Every memory bear includes:

• 📦 Remaining clothing returned with your finished bear

Ordering Process

Step 1 – Submit an Inquiry

Complete the Custom Memory Bear Inquiry Form at the bottom of this page. Please include:

• The type of clothing being used

• Any special requests or personalization (Embroidery is currently not available)
  

I will review your request and contact you to discuss your project.

Step 2 – Approval & Deposit

Once your project has been approved, you will receive:

• A price quote

• Shipping instructions

• An estimated completion date

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required before your place in my production schedule is reserved.

Step 3 – Ship Your Clothing

Customers are responsible for shipping keepsake clothing to Pins & Giggles.

Please:

• Wash all clothing before shipping.

• Fold clothing neatly.

• Place items in a sealed plastic bag inside your shipping box to protect them during transit.

• Use a shipping service that includes tracking (recommended).

• Consider purchasing insurance for irreplaceable items (recommended).

Pins & Giggles is not responsible for packages that are lost or damaged before they arrive.

Step 4 – Clothing Arrival

Once your package has been received, you will receive a confirmation letting you know your keepsake items arrived safely.

If I have any questions regarding your project before cutting begins, I will contact you immediately.

Step 5 – Creation

Your memory bear is handcrafted from your clothing using professional sewing techniques and stabilizers when necessary.

I will send progress updates throughout the creation process if you wish.

Step 6 – Final Payment

Once your memory bear is complete, I will send photographs for your approval.

The remaining balance must be paid before your order ships.

Step 7 – Return Shipment

After final payment is received, your completed memory bear will be carefully packaged and shipped to you.

Any unused clothing will be returned with your order unless you request otherwise.

Turnaround Time

Current estimated turnaround time is 3–6 weeks after your clothing is received.

Turnaround estimates may vary depending on:

• Current order volume

• Project complexity

• Holidays

• Shipping delays

If your bear is completed sooner, it will be shipped as soon as possible.

Clothing Guidelines

Suitable items include:

• Baby clothes

• Onesies

• T-shirts

• Hoodies

• Pajamas
  

• Flannel shirts
  

• Other sentimental fabric items

Please note:

• A memory bear takes between 4-8 onesies, or 1-3 adult shirts.

• Clothing must be clean before shipping.

• Clothing with excessive odors, mold, or contamination may be declined.

• Delicate, worn, vintage, or stretchy fabrics may require stabilizing interfacing.

• Every effort is made to showcase meaningful graphics, embroidery, pockets, or other special details whenever possible.

Care Instructions

Memory bears are handcrafted keepsakes intended for display and gentle handling. They are not meant to be toys.

To help preserve your keepsake:

• Display indoors.

• Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.

• Do not machine wash or machine dry.

• Spot clean gently with a damp cloth only.

• Do not bleach.

• Handle with care, especially if created from delicate or vintage fabrics.

Important Policies

Handmade Nature

Every memory bear is individually handcrafted. Small variations are part of the handmade process and make each bear unique.

Fabric Placement

Because every garment is different, exact placement of logos, graphics, embroidery, seams, or patterns cannot be guaranteed. However, I always make every reasonable effort to feature the most meaningful parts of your keepsake clothing.

Irreplaceable Materials

Once cutting begins, the clothing cannot be restored to its original condition. By approving your project, you acknowledge and accept that your garments will be permanently transformed into a keepsake.

Cancellations

Orders may be canceled before cutting begins. The initial deposit is non-refundable once your project has been accepted into my production schedule.

Once cutting has started, cancellations are not possible.

Returns

Due to the custom and personalized nature of memory bears, all sales are final. Returns, exchanges, and refunds are not available unless the item arrives damaged due to shipping or a workmanship issue.

Intended Use

Memory bears are keepsakes and are not designed or tested as toys for young children. Adult supervision is recommended if handled by children.
